Lubuaku was a dream combo made up by four friends that already crossed their paths many times since 2001. They played a bunch of shows in december 2006, then recorded this album after their last show at Area Sismica, that graciously provided a piano, their spaces, two days of their time and rooms to rest and eat. Andrea Caprara drove across the snowy Appennini from Nipozzano to Meldola with his mobile studio and recorded the session. Jacopo mixed the album on the night of new year's eve.
The four friends brought original compositions written by each one of them, ranging from mathemathic jazz sweating minimalism, turbofolk, sicilian saudade, emigrant rock. An unique project for a thousand tastes.

Scott, Thollem, Jacopo and Matteo (and Andrea) in the last 15 years played togheter in various combinations including bands and projects as Tsigoti, Squarcicatrici, SquarciMountain, Scott Pinkmountain and The Golden Bolts, The Amazing Adventures of Spartaco Amerigo Rossi & Jack Andrews, Motociclica Tellacci, Jealousy Party, AnarcoRuralAgroFreeJazzBand, Die Nipozzanzibarishe Big Band, Andreini/Rosenberg/De Dionyso plus hundreds of sessions with other friends across USA and Europe.
